Start with four nights at the Cape Grace Hotel in Cape Town, one of Africa's most charming cities. Spend a morning touring the famed wine regions of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek and, the next day, take a half-day tour of Cape Town, whose Victoria & Albert Waterfront is a bustling quarter of boutiques, cafes, markets, and restaurants. Weather permitting, take a cable car to the top of Table Mountain for breathtaking views of the coast. Spend a full day touring Cape Point and the many villages en route. After savoring the diverse pleasures of Cape Town, fly directly to Maun in Botswana and continue to Chief's Camp in the Moremi Game Reserve. Spend two full days with the reputed best guides in Botswana and allow them to show you the secret wonders of Moremi. Next, fly to Chobe National Park for two nights at the exquisite Chobe Chilwero Lodge. The landscape here is uniquely varied and the area supports the largest concentrations of elephant in all of Africa. Finally, transfer by road into Zambia and spend two nights at Tongabezi Lodge, a picturesque encampment shaded by ebony and acacia trees along the banks of the Zambezi River. While in Zambia, enjoy a picnic on Livingstone Island, tour the city of Livingstone, and enjoy the many game viewing activities from your base at this serenely elegant lodge.
