This program is a superb combination of some of Kenya and Tanzania's finest destinations. Start with one night in Nairobi, Kenya, at the Norfolk Hotel. From Nairobi, fly to Amboseli National Park for two nights under canvas at the exclusive Tortilis Camp, located in the shadow of the imposing Mt. Kilimanjaro. Tour the park, where over 400 bird species and 56 mammal species make their homes; your experience at the park will be enhanced by game drives and interpretive walks led by knowledgeable guides. Next, fly to the Maasai Mara National Park for three nights at luxurious Kichwa Tembo Bateleur Camp. Maasai Mara is world famous for being on the path of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra and for the rich, unique culture of the Maasai people. Continue to the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania for two unforgettable nights at the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Tour the crater, one of the richest spots on the planet for viewing a spectacular range of wildlife, and take trips to visit Olduvai Gorge, Shifting Sands, and a Maasai village. The diverse vegetation inside the crater includes swamps, grasslands, lakes, and forests, providing rich habitats for lion, elephant, buffalo, gazelle and more. Conclude your trip with two nights at the Grumeti River Camp in the Serengeti National Park, where game drives will introduce you to the animals and plants that call the area home.
