FIJI DISCOVERY - 10 days

DAY 1: ARRIVE NADI, NADI - SAVUSAVU
Upon arrival in Nadi, Fiji, you will be met and assisted to your connecting flight to Savusavu, on the island of Vanua Levu, Fiji's second largest island. The Fijian group consists of more than 300 islands sprinkled over 500,000 square miles of ocean in the South Pacific. The largest of the islands is Viti Levu; Nadi is on the western side of this island. Upon arrival in Savusavu, you will be met and transferred to the Jean Michel Cousteau Resort for a five-night stay in your private and luxurious thatch-roof bure (bungalow). The resort occupies one of Savusavu's most beautiful beaches and is reminiscent of a traditional Fijian village, as it is set in a flat palm grove beside the bay on Lesiaceva Point. Perfect for both couples and families, this unique, award-winning resort is environmentally conscious and has an on-site marine biologist who leads various excursions. (D)
DAYS 2 - 5: SAVUSAVU
These days are at your leisure to relax or take advantage of the activities offered at the Cousteau Resort. You may want to explore the town of Savusavu independently, visit nearby villages or enjoy snorkeling, scuba diving, reef walks and rainforest hikes. Of course, the Fiji Spa is available for treatments and massages as well, so be sure to book these upon your arrival to guarantee space. (B,L,D)
DAY 6: SAVUSAVU - QAMEA
You will be transferred to Savusavu today to board your onward flight to Taveuni; although Taveuni is Fiji's third largest island, it is surprisingly small. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred by road and sea to Qamea Resort and Spa on Qamea Island for a four-night stay. Located just off the coast of Tavenui, with only 14 luxuriously appointed beachfront bures and villas, Qamea offers true relaxation and seclusion amid coconut palms and lush tropical gardens. All accommodation occupies prime beachfront and has sweeping views of the ocean, the better to enjoy the dramatic sunsets. (B,L,D)
DAYS 7 - 9: QAMEA
Enjoy these days at your leisure. You may want to luxuriate with any number of pampering spa treatments in between activities from crab hunts and waterfall slides to plantation excursions and cultural hikes. You may also circumnavigate Qamea, Fiji's twelfth largest island, or head over to explore Taveuni, also known as Fiji's "garden island" because of the abundant flora. (B,L,D)
DAY 10: QAMEA - NADI, DEPART NADI
After checking out, you will be transferred by boat to Taveuni, where you will board your return flight to Nadi to catch your onward international departure. (B)
